Do you recognize this guy?
Don't you just want to poke him in the tummy and hear him giggle like in those commercials?!! I think the cutie Pillsbury Dough Boy should be brought back to TV commercial land. As well as the Speedy Alka Seltzer guy. They are so much cuter and funnier than babies talking about e-trading (in my humble opinion...)
And those eyes! Great big beautiful blues!
I love his cutie flour sack to keep my wooden spoons in order!
He's such a help around the kitchen!
♥ Linking my cutie dough boy for a little kitchen kitsch on What's Cooking in the Cottage Kitchen.
♥ And also on Blue Monday over at Smiling Sally's.
♥ He's also making an appearance at Knick of Time Tuesday!
♥♥♥
Oh, he even works for you by holding utensils; how cute! Thanks for sharing these blues.
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday, Sarah.
Oh how cute he is!
ReplyDeleteHe's my favorite!! That giggle...
ReplyDeleteI guess his cute pudge is not considered politically correct or health conscious anymore... :( So sad.
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah! Love the Dough Boy! And, as for the Wee People....
ReplyDeleteIf you find those recipes just come on back to Etsy Cottage Style Blogspot and relink...this goes allllll week.
Glad you cam by for the party today!
So cute.

So cute!
ReplyDeleteHe is really cute and he can cook too!
ReplyDeleteI so loving this tiny guy.

I agree, they should bring back the older commercials!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking he was a measuring cup, but he's carrying spoons! So cute! {:-D
ReplyDeleteWe used to have a Doughboy cookie jar that giggled when you took off the lid. (Be careful what you wish for!) I think it was light activated or something because he would giggle randomly when no one took his lid off! It was a little creepy. We gave him to the Salvation Army.
ReplyDeleteHe is just the cutest little guy; I always loved his laugh. I've never seen a ceramic one like him, but see the little squishy guys in antique stores all the time.
ReplyDeleteThe Dough Boy is one of my favorites. Lucky you to find such a cutie for your kitchen.

My niece used to collect the Pillsbury Dough Boy stuff. I remember my sister being so excited when she found Jenny a cookie jar. He's so darn cute! Funny how we can't get enough of the things from our youth. Thanks for sharing him with us and for visiting Cottage and Creek :)
